User need: Facilities need a rugged portable instrument to share among team members for routine maintenance. The device must fit inside different-sized power cabinets. Each logging measurement procedure will take days or months, and it can't be left outside as someone might tamper with it. The electrical door can't be left open for safety requirements. 

Current products in the market: Most are bulky and require trained technicians to use them, as they are complicated.
